One of the first team-oriented event logos I designed after the new Fedora logo design was rolled out.
It uses a single-color, white version of the standard team logo template for the “Design Team” logomark + logotype at the top. It has the “SESSIONS” in the center in Montserrat (I think Montserrat Black, if I recall correctly – a very heavy weight), and a neon-style “LIVE” boxed logo at the bottom in Fedora magenta. All of the type is using some form of Montserrat to help it come across as “Fedora.”
I wanted the overall look to be exciting and I love the Fedora magenta + Fedora blue backdrop gradient for that… it’s just a nice color range between those two colors, pleasing on the eyes, and it works well with the neon pink “LIVE” sign.
We use this as a backdrop for our weekly team live streams on the Fedora Design Team LinuxRocks PeerTube channel, and I have it in an avatar and a long banner format as well for the main channel page.
